For some mothers and fathers who have lost a child before, during, or shortly after birth, a support group is a valuable opportunity to connect with others and find the empathy that those around them often lack. We support and comfort each other on our individual journeys through grief. We provide each other with space to grieve and remember. Grief for a baby born with a star is complex. There are no government-sponsored care programs for parents and families if a baby dies during pregnancy or shortly after birth. Associations and institutions, medical and psychological professionals, grief counselors, pastors, undertakers, photographers of star children, volunteer seamstresses, and many more are trying to help and support those affected and their families in cases of small and stillbirths, as well as in cases of infant death. With this networking day, we want to raise awareness of the services we offer, encourage dialogue, and network. Registration is required. Dear all, we would like to cordially invite you to our grief workshop and this year's 2025 general meeting of the Sternenkinder Duisburg e.V. association at the Homberg Protestant Congregation House, Wilhelmstraße 55, 47198 Duisburg. The theme "When the heart breaks and words fail..." will guide us throughout this day. Our association aims to demonstrate the possibilities of holistic grief support for the soul, mind, and body. The day begins with the Yoga Grief Workshop, in which tension can be released and strength can be regained through breathing exercises, gentle movements, and mindful sensing. The general meeting will take place after lunch. We look forward to seeing you there.

With the focus on supporting parents who were bereaved early and their relatives for full-time and volunteer staff - according to the quality standards of the Federal Association for Bereavement Support with 1.5 years of further training.
